The department consistently and effectively offers service to the student community. Our students are trained in curricular and co-curricular activities like GATE, IES, TNPSC, TOEFL, GRE, IELTS, MAT, CAT, etc., to enhance the opportunity for higher education & placement. The department has kept abreast with definite changes and continuously equipping to impart up to date and profession relevant education to the aspiring students. As a pioneer of the college we are very happy to say that we were ranked first in overall Tamilnadu for securing the highest pass percentage during the academic year 2008 – 2009. Our department was ranked first among the Chennai Zone colleges during academic year 2009 – 2010 in the list of top Engineering colleges. All our laboratories are equipped with most modern sophisticated instruments of its kind. We persistently insist on the innovative and inspiring project works to the students. 1st batch B.E. Civil Engg., passed out in the previous academic year with excellence, one of our students secured 24th University rank. About 4 students secured GATE Score. About 19 passed out students do their PG at various reputed institutes such as IIT, GCE, GCT, and Government Aided College.
